EQili remains as sponsor yellow jersey!

EQili will remain connected to the European Junior Cycling Tour Assen as the sponsor of the yellow jersey for the next two editions. The Limburg-based company came on board with Europe’s largest youth cycling event three years ago and is pleased to continue the partnership.

The extended partnership coincides with a new phase for EQili. The company recently launched a revamped corporate identity, a new logo, and a completely new website. EQili’s distinctive yellow and black colors align seamlessly with the yellow jersey.

“That is a nice coincidence,” says General Manager Sander Jonk. “Our flags and banners along the course are in our new corporate colors this year — yellow and black. It feels as if we have always belonged with the yellow jersey. We have grown as a company, and we want to project that image. The Jeugdtour is a wonderful platform to make our new look widely visible for the first time.”

Sander was present at the first edition. “I mainly remember that it was very wet,” he says with a smile. “Nevertheless, there was so much enthusiasm from the riders, the organization, and the volunteers. In the business world, it isn’t dry and sunny every day either, but you still always have to try your best. That is what we do at EQili, and that is what the riders in the Jeugdtour do too. Competing for a yellow jersey, or simply striving to become the best version of yourself, is inspiring to see.”

EQili is a company that ‘trains’ hard to constantly improve at what it does best. That is helping finance and control teams ensure that the (monthly) closing processes run as quickly, smoothly, and demonstrably as possible. In these types of processes, different factors and different people play a role, just as in organizing a cycling week like the Jeugdtour.

“At EQili, we love building something together. Founder Karlo Mans did that, and we do it now that we are part of Blinqx. Together, we make an impact at municipalities, provinces, and companies where our products are used daily, but we also want to contribute to society. Through Karlo’s passion, we ended up in youth cycling, where building growth and collaboration is also important to lay a solid foundation for the near and distant future.”

Sander draws motivation from the dedication of volunteers and organizers who have sometimes been involved for decades. “In nearly sixty years, this event has grown into a very mature organization. At EQili, we also think in terms of maturity phases; we help organizations grow from ad-hoc processes to a structural, repeatable approach. We recognize that drive to keep moving forward in the Jeugdtour. That is why we are happy to help again over the next two years on the road to the 60th anniversary year in 2027.”
