EQili is our new main sponsor

EQili has committed itself as main sponsor to the European Junior Cycling Tour Assen, also known as Jeugdtour Assen, for the coming years. This event for riders aged 8 to 18 will be organized for the 56th time this year in Assen and surrounding municipalities. It is not the first time that EQili has taken steps in cycling sponsorship. For example, they sponsored the AG Insurance-NXTG development team and are affiliated with this year’s National Championships for U17 and juniors in Limburg.

Founder and owner Karlo Mans explains. “EQili is a company that is in full development and that also applies to this sport that I personally care about a lot. The Amstel Gold Race has been departing for years in Maastricht, where we are located, and the big stars of cycling are riding through our streets. EQili helps companies and governments to professionalize their financial closing processes at the base. In this way we also want to help with the foundations of cycling. The Jeugtour Assen is therefore a wonderful event that we would like to be a part of in the coming years. Who knows, maybe a current participant will be at the start of the Amstel Gold Race in a few years time.”

Lineke Kerstholt is head of PR of the Stichting Ondersteuning Wielersport, the organization behind the European Junior Cycling Tour Assen, and is pleased with EQili’s long-term support. “After three years of absence, we are fortunately back on the roads of the province of Drenthe and in the municipalities of Noordenveld, Aa en Hunze, Tynaarlo, Midden-Drenthe, Borger-Odoorn and Assen itself. EQili is active in many municipalities in the Netherlands, but also has a heart for our sport. That makes the collaboration ideal for us. We can once again look forward to almost 500 participants from 22 countries. We are happy and proud that despite everything that has happened in recent years, so many participants are coming to Assen again. Together with EQili, we are happy to build on the renewed growth of the Jeugdtour Assen but also our other events such as the Omloop door het Land van Bartje. Because cycling starts with a solid foundation. We are going for that together.”
