Three categories full. Juniors welcome
We now have 580 participants from 29 countries. Almost all youth categories are full or almost full. We are delighted with the record number of U17 girls this year. However, there is still a lot of room among the juniors (M/F).

Juniors
We have only 33 confirmed participants in both junior men and women. At the end of this 58th edition, we will evaluate as an organisation whether junior races will still be organised in 2026. There is apparently hardly any interest left due to all sorts of factors we are aware of but cannot change: lack of long classic (no police escort), too short races (we have 11 categories to ride on one day), a lot of overlap with other UCI races and far-reaching professionalization of juniors which means that an event like ours where fun and sportsmanship go hand in hand no longer “fits”.
Courses
The courses for this year will be largely the same as those of 2024. Perhaps a lap will be added here and there but the courses as currently listed on the website are largely the correct ones. The start times for each category may be adjusted, though. There is also a change for Wednesday. The juniors and U17 will no longer go over the highest point of VAM berg due to logistical reasons.
