How to register for the race?
Information about registration for 2026
From 2 February, 10 a.m CET, you can register for the 59th edition of the European Junior Cycling Tour Assen. This message explains in detail how to do so.
The registration link (English version) will go live at 10 a.m. Please fill in the following details: category, name, place of residence, country, club, UCI number, date of birth, gender, email address. If you do not yet have a UCI number, please enter 0 and email us the number later.
Which category should you choose? You can find this in this overview. It is your responsibility to choose the correct category! If you make a mistake and the correct category is already full, you will be placed on a waiting list.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. Please note: this may sometimes end up in your spam folder. Please note: a confirmation of receipt does not mean that you can participate.
In the youth categories, we are bound by a maximum number of riders per category. This is for safety reasons. Because we cannot set up the registration system so that each category closes individually when that number is reached, this is done manually.
On 2 February and the days after, you will receive confirmation of your participation by email as soon as possible. Check your SPAM folder. The participant lists will also be posted online as soon as possible. If the category is full, you will be placed on the waiting list and we will notify you when a spot becomes available. Do not pay yet if you are on the waiting list.
After confirmation that you have a starting place: via email or the online participant list, your starting place is final after payment.
Participation costs €160 per rider. This includes a mandatory contribution of €10 for the rental of a transponder.
Pay before 1 April 2026. If you do not, your starting place will be forfeited and will go to a rider on the waiting list. We always send two payment reminders. If you decide not to come for any reason, please let us know so that we can make someone else happy with a starting place.

Nieuwelingen-boys/U17 ride separately in first (2011) and second year (2010) riders. In 2026, we will not have any races for juniors (M/F).
