How are Suzanne and Koa doing?

At the beginning of this week, Suzanne Mulder expressed her ambitions for this Jeugdtour. Where does she stand four stages into the week?

“On Tuesday it didn’t go as expected, I had to start at the back and I couldn’t ride to the front. That is something I always find difficult. It went a lot better on Wednesday. In the classic, the positioning went well and I finished fifth! “This made up for the bad day on Tuesday.”

Today the time trial was on the menu, Suzanne’s favorite event. “I had the feeling that I left something at the beginning, but in the end my time was good. I moved from place three to two in the rankings for the pink jersey. I’m super happy with that! I hope I can grab bonus seconds and hold my podium position. ”

We spoke to Koa Goodson on Tuesday after his criteriun. Yesterday he was ready to start in the classic.

“It was so hard! From the start, everyone kept on riding all across the road making it difficult to pass them to find a good position. This is very different to America. It was a great experience! In the end I am satisfied. They are riding super fast here! I am already looking forward to the last two days. ”

Today the time trial for Koa was unfortunately canceled due to bad weather.
