Regulations Jeugdtour Assen 2025 (version 26 June 2025 for reference)

IMPORTANT CHANGE is gearing for 2026. These have changed compared to the regulations published above. You can find them in this document.

From this year it’s only allowed to block off the gears when you use mechanical shifting. If you use electronic shifting, you will have to use a cassette that is under or on the exact roll-out distance of your category when used in conjunction with the largest chain ring on your bike.

We aim to make racing financially accessible but also want fair play for everyone. Sadly, we have seen fraud with electronic shifting so blocking off will not be allowed anymore.

Gearing will be checked for every rider on certain race days, and random checks will happen on other days.

New regulations will be published in June.
